Job Description
Position: IT Intern
Location: Aden
Duration: 6 months upon signing the contract.
Overall Objective:
The IT Intern will provide essential support to the IT department by assisting with the day-to-day technical/IT needs of the Aden Hub office. The primary objective of this position is to ensure smooth and uninterrupted office operations by resolving technical issues promptly, maintaining hardware and software systems in coordination with and under technical guidance of the IT assistant in the Aden Hub remotely. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the office while developing their own technical skills.
Duties:
Under the guidance of the Program Support and the supervision of the IT Assistant, the IT Intern shall assure timely and quality implementation of maintenance for Aden Hub office and Staff house as well.
S\he shall perform mainly the following tasks:
1. Installing the software & driver required by the employee.
2. Solve printer problems facing employees.
3. Meeting room support.
4. Support for Internet LAN problems.
5. Setup Laptops for new employees.
6. Follow up on laptops in maintenance outside the office.
7. Reporting problems with laptop and laptops that need to be replaced with spare part.
Requirements:
• University degree in engineering.
• Basic information to install the program.
•Basic information in networks
• Well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Comply with all relevant CARE policies and procedures with respect to child protection, workplace environment, employee code of conduct and all other related subjects.
