Duration: 4 months upon signing the contract.

Overview:

CARE Yemen is looking for a recent graduate to fill in the position of a partnerships intern under the Pilot Funding Mechanism for Women's Rights Organisations in Yemen. In order to support  empowering these organizations through targeted funding and capacity-strengthening support. The intern suppose to provide daily support to the partners, beside the entail administrative and programmatic support across departments, boosting operational efficiency.

 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Partnership Intern to assist our Senior Partnership Officer in building and maintaining strategic relationships. This role will provide hands-on experience in partnership development, FCDO partnership management, and relevant stakeholder engagement.  The Intern for Partnership will be collecting information from LNGOs & WRO and will be responsible for organizing meetings, filing, and documenting. Interns benefit by gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to the humanitarian and development sectors, aiding their professional growth.  Due to the work procedures and tasks that have been added to the partnership department and the new contractual procedures under the new FCDO project, there is a need to support the Partnership focal point in order to ensure the timely accomplishment of the requirements. 

 

Objective of the Assignment:

The position holder will be assisting the Snr. Partnership Officer mainly in supporting with the filing all partners documents, selection process, and memos, organizing follow up meetings and field visits to partners to check on the implementation progress and monitoring the Partners.

 

Scope of Tasks under this Assignment:

  • Support Partnership Development:
  • Assist in identifying potential partners.
  • Supports in organizing DDA verification.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Maintain partnership databases and documentation.
  • Communication & Outreach:
  • Supports in documenting success stories.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Help coordinate partnership-related visits.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables by the partners.

Duration of the Assignment:

The duration of this assignment will be for 4 months

Deliverables and Terms of payment:

The Intern will receive $ 150 USD per month, with no other payment or benefits at all.

Requirements for the position:

  • Fresh graduate from business administration/ marketing or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have an interest in Building Partnerships related tasks.
  • Advanced English language written and communication skills.
