Internal Advert for CFRM Assistant – Intern Position

Terms of Reference (TOR)
Location:  Taiz
Duration: 3 months
Benefits: USD 150/month (no additional benefits)

Overview:

The CFRM Assistant (Intern) will support the MEAL team in strengthening accountability to affected populations by ensuring timely, confidential, and effective management of complaints and feedback. The role will help ensure that community voices are heard and addressed throughout the project cycle.

Objective of the Assignment:

The intern will assist the MEAL in the Hub office of Taiz with:

  • Receive, document, and categorize complaints and feedback from community members through multiple channels (e.g., hotline, feedback boxes, help desks, field visits).
  • Log and maintain complaint data in the CFRM database, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Refer complaints to the appropriate departments and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support in preparing response letters and ensure complainants are informed of the resolution in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Participate in awareness-raising sessions in the field to promote accountability mechanisms, especially among women and marginalized groups.
  • Assist with analysis and reporting of trends in complaints to improve program quality.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly CFRM reports and share learnings with the MEAL team.
  • Support the broader MEAL team in documentation, learning, and accountability activities as needed.

Other Duties:

  • Perform any other tasks as required and assigned by the line manager.

Internship Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information management, Statistics, Computer Science, Social Studies or a related field.
  • Recent graduates
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Activity Info or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
