Job Summary:

The Cook is responsible of providing the residents of CARE Guest house with agreed food menu for three males a day  . The cook is responsible of getting the food raw materials from the market as agreed with the residents in timely manner. Proper cooking is the responsibility of seeking residents acceptance that required health issue and clean food provided as well maintaining a good looks of the kitchen at the GHs during and after use.

Responsibilities

Provide International staff with satisfied meals

• Provide a list of menus which s/he can prepare and agree with international staff.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner on all days.
• Prepare food for all international staff (two guest houses)
• Need to come twice a day; once for breakfast and lunch preparation (at 7am) and once for dinner preparation (at 4pm/5pm)
• Clean all the used utensils and keep the kitchen clean.
• Purchase necessary groceries/vegetables as and when required for the kitchen on direct payment basis from the international staff residing in the guest house.
• The cook is required after 3pm on all working days to go to GH to prepare dinner for the staff and prepare breakfast for Sunday at GH.

Clean Environment & Hospitality.

• Provide hospitality to guests, offering tea and other things they may need
• Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage.
• Ensuring that appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen all the time.
• Arranging and washing the dishes.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma; relevant fields.
• 2-3 years of experience working as a Cook
• Must be professional, organized.
• Able to pay attention to detail.
• Ability to understand English. Comply with all relevant CARE policies and procedures with respect to child protection, workplace environment, employee code of conduct and all other related subjects.
